RESIDENTS

STUDENTS

Students applying do not need to fill out an application. Simply contact meyermw@upmc.edu. The trip must fit into your schedule.

This is not “just another rotation.” In San Jose you will discover the essence of medicine and reacquaint yourself with why you went into medicine in the first place. The people and patients that you will meet are dignified, humble, warm, and so appreciative. Many of them walk hours to seek your medical expertise. And your impact goes far beyond the medical, with the personal relationships built with the people you meet. Children may remember you by name even a year and a half after meeting you. This is the one rotation you won’t forget.

Your donations are welcome and needed. Even the smallest amount multiplies itself in both monetary value and as an agent for change in the lives of the people of San Jose. They are also tax deductible!
